MMM's objective is the application of technologies for the generation of green energy at competitive prices and compatible with a 100% decarbonized future.
Among these objetives we consider accelerating the adoption of fuel cell technology for clean and efficient electricity generation, thus contributing to the decarbonization process through the use of biofuels.
Hydrogen is set to be the fuel of the future due to its abundance on our planet, the possibility of manufacturing it through the hydrolysis of water using renewable energies, the fact that it does not generate greenhouse gases when used, and its easiness of storage and transportation on a large scale.
However, the universal infrastructure that will allow the daily use of hydrogen as a fuel is still several decades away.
True to its Vision and with the intention of accelerating the adoption of hydrogen as this new energy vector of our society, MMM is promoting new technologies to bring the future closer.
Our Energy division delivers to the market specific, scalable and cost-competitive solutions to achieve this goal.
We are committed to the design and production of solutions based on methanol reforming technologies for hydrogen generation, perfectly suited for both mobile and static environments.
We promote projects with scalable solutions that adapt to different levels of supply at an affordable cost

Methanol reforming technology details
Hydrogen generation through the methanol reforming process produces 28% less CO2 when compared with fossil fuels and no polluting particles (0% NOx and SOx). If the methanol is generated in a green fashion (biofuel), then the process is carbon neutral. This allows for a quick shift to likely changes in legislation.
The hydrogen generated can be used in fuel cells for electricity generation and if combined with a battery bank, it is possible to manage both consumption peaks or below operating level.
The gas generated by the reactor flows through a patented filter technology that increases its purity to above 99.97% with less than 0.2 ppm CO2. This allows its usage in fuel cells without the risk of contaminating and damaging them. It has been tested with most of the industry leaders’ cells.
