Technologies

In the automotive sector, competitiveness is closely related to the use of cutting-edge technologies.

MMM has implemented and brought to a level of excellence the technologies to meet and exceed the expectations of its customers. It has also invested significant resources in developing other leading-edge technologies to stand out from the competition.

Main technologies used in our plants

Hydroforming

This technology allows us to manufacture elements of complex geometry with high degrees of biaxial deformation thanks to the expertise acquired over the years. We are able to work with tubes from 0.3 to 0.8 mm thick in both steel and stainless steel.

Brazing welding

It is a welding process with excellent physicochemical properties that achieves an optimum bond between the substrate and the flux with high repeatability and reliability especially when compared to other welding processes.

Forming and bending

Numerically controlled forming technology allows us to process a wide variety of geometries with great flexibility. Our equipment covers bends ranging from 4 to 80 mm and all the flaring variants used in the sector.

Induction brazing

It is a brazing process that uses high intensity radiofrequency to heat very specific parts of the piece. Due to its high precision, it is used in those cases where it is not feasible to heat the entire part in the brazing furnace.

Cleaning

Our cleaning processes guarantee the absence of metallic contaminants and fibers. These processes are controlled by laboratory tests complying with the requirements of gravimetry and granulometry of the residue according to ISO 16232 also allowing correlations with the customer.

Final assembly cells

Assembly cells are one-piece-flow processes that include assembly, 100% product conformity check and complete traceability of the subsystem for parts that, in addition to metal tubes, incorporate other components such as elastomeric tubes, sensors, fasteners, sealing interfaces, etc.
